The Leave Me Behind team is extremely proud to accept the Accolade Award of Merit for a feature film.

Leave Me Behind also just won the Moving Pictures Magazine Film Competition.  We were 1st Runner up in
the Narrative Feature Film category.  Kirk Gostkowski accepted the award at the Slamdance Film Festival.

8-11-08:

Leave Me Behind will be showing at the
Washougal International Film Festival.  The festival is located in
Washougal, Washington.  The festival runs from August 21th - 24th.  

We are screening on Friday,  August 22nd, at 10PM  at the Washburn Auditorium.

Both Kirk Gostkowski and Kieran Dotti will be in attendance at the festival.

Mission of Festival:

"Washougal International Film Festival takes place in downtown Washougal, WA along the Columbia River, at
the gateway of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. An international event with a community focus,
WIFF is open to all film makers and artists working within the medium of film. WIFF combines public screenings
with small forums to engage in a dialogue of social issues and cultural exchange through the powerful
language of film in all genres.WIFF showcases a variety of local, national and international films, aiming to
share a broad range of films representing current affairs and relevant topics that affect our communities.
Encouraging student, independent and professional works for screening. We are here to share stories and the
power and art of film. Films will be valued on the merits such as; creativity, ingenuity, story, attention to detail,
and the ability to challenge us and make us feel. Our goal is to bring together a community of creative,
inspiring, individual thinkers who encourage us, inspire us, generate thought, stir our laughter, bring about

4-23-08:

Leave Me Behind will be showing at the International Film Festival England.   The festival is located in
Tamworth, UK.  The movie will be showing on June 11th.

Leave Me Behind,  Kirk Gostkowski, is nominated in the category: Best First Feature- USA.

We are pleased to announce that Leave Me Behind will be having its world premiere at the
Big Muddy Film Festival in Southern Illinois.

"In its 30th year edition, The Big Muddy Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals run by film and
art students in the US. Dedicated to supporting works by both emerging and accomplished independent
filmmakers, The Festival showcases experimental, documentary, narrative, and animation films of all
genres and themes." -

The festival runs from February 22nd through March 2nd. When we get official word of the screening it
will be announced on this site and on the
myspace page.

Hopefully this is the beginning of many more great things to come. We want to thank each of you again for
